The Story Behind
Establishing a Strong Foundation: 2014-2015
In 2014, King Fresh Farm (KFF) took root in the verdant lands of Bangkhuntien Chaitalay, Bangkok, with an initial land space of 20 rais. Our journey began by cultivating indigenous Thai fruits and vegetables through organic farming practices. Although we faced challenges due to our lack of prior experience, our determination remained unwavering.
To enhance our organic farming expertise and promote sustainability within Thailand’s agriculture, KFF joined an organic farming program facilitated by the Thailand Ministry of Science and Technology. Partnering with the Suranaree University of Technology, we delved into the use of biotechnology for agricultural purposes. Under the guidance of Emeritus Professor Dr. Nantakom Boonkerd, an esteemed authority in biotechnology and organic agriculture in Thailand, we honed our skills and deepened our understanding.
Following the successful completion of the program, KFF embarked on cultivating organic fresh produce while simultaneously pursuing certifications that aligned with EU, NOP, and USDA (USA) standards. In 2015, we established a state–of–the–art packing house certified by SGS, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards.
A Journey of Growth: 2016-2017
Building upon our achievements, 2016 marked the launch of our organically grown produce certified to meet the stringent standards of EU, NOP, and USDA (USA). Branded under the name “King Organic,” our products swiftly found their way into supermarkets, health shops, and organic food stores, delighting consumers seeking the pinnacle of organic quality.
Driven by our commitment to reducing waste and promoting sustainability, 2017 witnessed the formation of a dedicated food research and development team. This team embarked on a mission to craft healthy and delectable organic food products using the raw materials we cultivated, ensuring minimal wastage along the way.
Diversification and Innovation: 2018-2019
Embracing innovation, KFF began producing organic eggs in late 2018, adhering strictly to the regulations set forth by EU, NOP, and USDA (USA). A momentous achievement arrived in 2019 when our organic eggs, branded as “King Organic,” became the first in Thailand to be certified according to these esteemed international standards. Garnering recognition across leading supermarkets in Thailand, our organic eggs have become a hallmark of quality and trust.
In collaboration with the E–san Community Enterprise Agrarian Network (ECEAN), KFF ventured into cultivating a diverse range of rice varieties, including the renowned Hom Mali Rice (Jasmine Rice), Riceberry Rice, Red Rice, Brown Rice, and Glutinous Rice (Sticky Rice). This collaboration aimed to provide consumers with wholesome nutrition within a safe environment. The organic eggs and rice under the King Organic brand swiftly made their way to high–end supermarkets, catering to discerning customers.
Innovation Knows No Bounds: 2020-2021
The year 2020 witnessed the remarkable success of our food research and development team as they crafted a wide array of tantalizing organic food products. From organic salad dressings to fermented vegetables (Kimji), egg tofu, cooking sauces, sukiyaki sauces, chili paste, and Thai spicy chili paste, our offerings captivated the taste buds of consumers seeking both flavor and wellness. These products debuted across renowned supermarkets and online stores, receiving overwhelming appreciation for their deliciousness and health benefits.
Expanding Horizons and Global Recognition: 2022-2023
As King Fresh Farm’s reputation continued to flourish, the years 2022 and 2023 marked a period of unprecedented growth and recognition for the brand. With a steadfast commitment to crafting exceptional organic food products, the company’s organic processed foods found their way into an increasing number of high–end supermarkets across Thailand. Esteemed establishments such as Gourmet Market of The Mall Group at Siam Paragon, Emporium, Emquatier, Tops Supermarket of Central Group, Lotus, Foodland, Villa Market, and specialized green supermarkets like Lemon farm proudly showcased King Fresh Farm’s offerings on their shelves.
The discerning consumers in Thailand’s high–end supermarkets appreciated the quality, taste, and hygiene of King Fresh Farm’s organic processed foods. Health–conscious individuals found solace in knowing that the products they chose were not only delicious but also aligned with their commitment to wellness and sustainable living.
